Rooted here. Invested here.

Your home deserves more than the lowest bid.

It deserves the right diagnosis, careful work, and someone who stands behind the service.

Custom Pest Control Scottsboro is a local, family-owned business with ties to the Marshall County area dating to 2005. We serve Scottsboro and surrounding Northeast Alabama communities with the personal attention we would want for our own homes.

With 30 years of experience, we know the value of finding a problem early. Sometimes it is an entry gap. Sometimes it is moisture under the home. Looking beyond the obvious can help you address concerns before they become more expensive.

Our goal is not to be the cheapest name on a list. It is to be the company you trust to understand the problem, explain the solution, and follow through.

The Custom Pest approach
01 / INTEGRITY

Show you. Explain it.

Photos and a written report help you see what we see. We explain our recommendations and distinguish included pest protection from separately quoted work.

02 / RESPECT

Your time matters.

Promptness, clear communication, and respect for your property are standards we work to uphold. You deserve to understand the next step—not be left guessing.

03 / FOLLOW-THROUGH

Stay with the problem.

We monitor activity, adjust our approach, and return for covered-pest concerns. Lasting control takes more than a single visit.

The work behind the results

Thorough from the first visit.
Thoughtful on every visit.

We invest extra time at the beginning to understand your home and establish control. Then we maintain and refine your protection as conditions change.

01 / INSPECT & DOCUMENT

Start with answers, not assumptions.

We inspect accessible areas from top to bottom, including the crawl space where accessible, create a house diagram, and document findings with photos. Your emailed report explains pest activity, entry points, moisture concerns, and visible conditions that may need attention.

02 / PROTECT THE EXTERIOR

Meet pests before they move in.

We sweep accessible cobwebs around doors, windows, and eaves; treat appropriate pest travel areas; and establish a perimeter treatment. We look around mulch, debris, and nearby trees for nests and hiding places, and point out gaps that may need sealing.

03 / TARGET THE INTERIOR

Put treatment where it belongs.

We focus on plumbing access areas in kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms, inspect other areas, and treat as needed. Strategic crack-and-crevice applications target pest hiding places while limiting unnecessary exposure to people and pets.

04 / MONITOR & ADAPT

Let the evidence guide the next visit.

Monitors in key locations, such as near water heaters, help identify activity that may not have been visible initially. If treatment brings hidden pests into view, tell us. We use that information to refine your plan and provide additional included visits when needed.

Useful findings. Honest recommendations. We may point out conditions that need attention but are not part of pest control—such as moisture issues, gaps around doors or windows, or damaged vents. We can quote sealing and home services separately when useful.

Careful by design

Effective treatment.
Responsible application.

Safety is a responsibility in how we work—not a blanket promise that any pesticide is risk-free.

We strategically place products where pests travel and hide, rather than treating indiscriminately. Product selection, application, and any preparation or re-entry instructions must follow the label and your home's conditions.

Our approach favors products without a strong, offensive odor. But no odor does not mean no precautions: tell us about children, pets, aquariums, or household sensitivities so we can discuss the appropriate instructions.

Residual perimeter products can continue working after we leave. Outdoor formulations are selected for outdoor conditions; duration and weather resistance vary by product, surface, and conditions. If activity continues after rain—or at any time—contact us.

Spring. Summer. Fall. Winter.

Protection follows the seasons.
So do we.

Inside-and-outside service every three months, with monthly exterior service during May, June, July, and August—at no extra charge under your year-round plan.

01 / SPRING

Reinforce.

Prepare for rising activity and refresh your home's defenses as the weather warms.

02 / MAY–AUGUST

Every 30 days.

Monthly exterior visits help address peak summer pest pressure. No extra visit charge.

03 / FALL

Get ahead.

Focus on entry points and pests seeking shelter as temperatures begin to change.

04 / WINTER

Stay watchful.

Continue protection and monitoring when pests look for warmth indoors.

Need us between visits? Call. Extra requested visits for covered pests are included at no extra charge. Consistent access—especially to the exterior—helps us maintain your protection.

Straight answers

Know what to expect.

Good service starts with a clear conversation—and continues with one.

Will I see pests after the first treatment?

You may. Initial treatment can bring hidden activity into view, and establishing control can take follow-up work. Share what you are seeing so we can respond and adjust. Extra visits for covered pests are included in the plan.

What will I receive after the inspection?

An emailed findings report with photos and information about the conditions we observed. We explain your treatment recommendations and any issues that may need sealing or further evaluation.

Do you treat inside at every summer visit?

Quarterly service includes inside and outside treatment. May–August monthly service focuses on the exterior. If you notice indoor activity between scheduled visits, call us about an included visit for covered pests.

Can I choose how I pay?

Yes. Our year-round plan has a twelve-month service term, with yearly, quarterly, or monthly payment options. The payment schedule does not change the annual commitment. Your exact price, coverage, and cancellation terms are provided in your service agreement.

Why choose Custom Pest instead of the cheapest quote?

Look at the work behind the price: the inspection, documentation, targeted treatment, monitoring, seasonal attention, and willingness to return. Our focus is a well-understood problem and a plan built to address it—not simply the lowest initial price.
